THE TWO PLANES

Did you know that the life of a follower of Jesus is actually lived simultaneously on two planes? Physically your body is here on earth right now. But your spirit is hidden in Christ Jesus. Where is Jesus physically at right now? He is seated at the right hand of God. The bible says that we are seated with Christ in heavenly realms now. So that means that you are actually living in two planes at the same time. This is part of the mystery of the church. But lets think about what that means to the way we see things, the way we live, the authority we walk in and how we handle situations on this planet. Lets think about it. When we think about heaven we think about the system of heaven. Jesus walked in that system here on Earth. He took authority over storms and called dead people to life. Since you are seated in Heaven you have the ability to operate under a different set of principles. Pray this prayer: Father God, show me how to walk on earth as a true believer today.

THE GREAT EXCHANGE

While I was taking my children to school this morning I noticed that one of them was having a very down day. So I reached into the ash tray and grabbed 2 coins. One was a token to use at a pizza restaurant and the other was a real quarter. I gave the token to my child and then asked them if they would like to trade for real money. I told them about the greatest exchange ever made. I have not heard of anywhere where you can go to get exchange like this. Each day you can bring all your worries, all your fears of future provision, all your low self esteem and doubts about your ability, and any other concerns that you have. You can take these to the cross and give them to Jesus and exchange them for his peace, his promises, his joy his life. No one else in the entire world can offer this exchange to you. Only through Jesus can you take your poverty and get Prosperity, take your sickness and get health, take your fear and get love and joy. Take your junk to the cross today and get his complete provision. He is able to give this to you. Pray this prayer: Dear Jesus, I give you ___, please replace it with your promises. Amen.

Faith That Endures

Practice Faith that Endures.

As I read through the gospels and look at the way Jesus taught his disciples I see that Jesus was continually focused on showing his disciples who he is and how to walk in faith in order to accomplish that which he had called them to do. When we focus our faith each morning on the promises of God, we renew our vision and direction in order to accomplish what God has asked us to do.

Jesus preached to the crowds and then to test the faith of the disciples, Jesus asked them to feed five thousand people. You may be in a situation where you feel like God has asked you to accomplish a huge task of helping people that challenges your faith.

Through the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish, the disciples were shown the provision given through Jesus to accomplish Gods will.

Right after that event Jesus asked his disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side. In your heart you may want to step out in faith to do what God has asked you to do. It takes faith in Jesus to walk out the plans and purposes of God and to help the people we are assigned to reach.

As the disciples we crossing over to the other side they experienced a storm. The winds and the sea were a huge obstacle for them in reaching the other side where Jesus had told them to go.

In Matthew 8:26 Jesus did not point out a lack of character in the disciples, but what he did was ask them this question: Why are you afraid, O you of little faith ? then Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea.

Jesus not only rebuked unclean spirits and demons but in this case he rebuked the wind and the sea. Today your Faith in Jesus, your focus on Him, your belief in His ability to provide will help you to get past the storms and difficulties that may seem bigger than you.

Pray this prayer. “Jesus, help me to keep focus on you and your ability today. Help me walk by Faith. In you I live and move and have my being.” Amen.
